Ahhhhh I see. I hope you feel better! (Or was ‘hideously ill’ a metaphor for ‘unimaginably hungover’) ;) It was a really good show despite Queensryche confusing the hell out of me with their position in the lineup as well as their strange, themed show. Skid Row killed it as did Warrant (dreamy), Quiet Riot, L.A. Guns (Phil Lewis rubbed my back) and Kix (of course). Dokken was horribly disappointing.. sad. Stryper was GOOD (I’m usually biased against christian bands being as adept at shredding on guitars but I’ve been proven wrong twice… once with Skillet and the other time with Stryper. I was madly impressed with them EVEN THOUGH they didn’t get to sing “Honestly”) Ratt was okay I guess. I just played ring around the rosie during round and round and I am not sure I paid any more attention to their set. The headliner, going from the SCORPIONS to Whitesnake.. to Ratt? Sigh… I’m hoping for a better headliner next year. I’m not sure they can outdo the Scorpions though. But they honestly weren’t bad. Just not fantastic. I don’t remember who I’m leaving out. Night Ranger? I almost missed them… (for the second time in my life) but we got there in time for Sister Christian and Rock in America which is good. Am I leaving anything out? 0_o NEXT YEAR, perhaps, my dearest anonymous friend :)
